Environmental Organizations
NJR is actively involved with several organizations that share our environmental goals.
Association of New Jersey Recyclers
NJR is a member of the Association of New Jersey Recyclers (ANJR), a non-profit, non-partisan recycling network consisting of members from both the public and private sectors. The organization promotes recycling in New Jersey via education, advocacy, and the promotion of professional standards.
NJ WasteWise Business Network
In conjunction with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, the New Jersey WasteWise Business Network conveys the WasteWise message to businesses, local governments, and other organizations in New Jersey. The organizations hold regular meetings and special events throughout the year so members can share ideas and strategies regarding recycling and waste management, prevention, and reduction in New Jersey.
EPA's WasteWise
EPA’s WasteWise encourages organizations and businesses to achieve sustainability in their practices and reduce waste. WasteWise is part of EPA’s sustainable materials management efforts, which promote the use and reuse of materials more productively over their entire life cycles.
